Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the post of Assistant Engineers (A.E) – Civil/ Electrical /Structural /MEP & Assistant Architect (A.A) and Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist. Candidates should apply through On-line mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Educational Qualification for LIC Recruitment :
there is different educational qualification is given to each different post. Educational qualification for the all the post is as given follows:
1) For post 1 – B-tech/ BE in the mechanical or electrical or B-Arch + 03-year experience or M-tech or ME (Structural)+01 year of experience
2) For post 2 – CA/LLB/ graduation in any field / LLM / MCA / or MSc in computer science / IT/ electronics or post-graduation in Hindi.
Fee for LIC Recruitment :
fee for the online application is different for the different age limits.
Fee for the online application is as given below:
1) for Open and OBC fee for the application is 700 Rs
2) for PWD /ST /SC fee for online application is 85 Rs
Emoluments and benefits of this job :

Preliminary Examinations consisting of the objective test is going to be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for every section) as follows:

LIC AAO Syllabus 2020: Detailed Syllabus For LIC AAO
Phase-II: Main Examination:
The main examination will contain objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the target and descriptive tests are going to be online. The objective test will have separate timing for each section. Candidates will need to answer the Descriptive test by typing on the pc. Descriptive Test is going to be administered immediately after the completion of the target test.

Phase-III: Interview
Marks obtained within the Main Examination only are going to be considered for shortlisting for interview.
I. Commensurate to the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the proper to repair the minimum eligibility standards so as to limit the candidates to be involved in an interview and also fix the minimum qualifying marks to qualify within the interview. Maximum Interview marks are 60 and qualifying marks for EWS, Unreserved, OBC are 30. Qualifying marks for SC /ST/PwBD candidates are 27.
Candidates who don’t obtain the minimum qualifying marks as decided by LIC shall be excluded from the further selection process. the choice of LIC during this regard shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence are going to be entertained during this regard.
II. the number of candidates to be involved interview are going to be about 3 times the amount of vacancies to be filled in subject to availability of successful candidates within the online main examination and can be pure as per their ranking in their respective category.
III. just in case of comparable marks of two or more candidates, the merit order of such group of candidates shall be as per the mixture marks in online main examination and interview and further as per their additional post-graduation qualification
(i.e. the person with higher educational qualification are going to be placed higher within the merit order) and just in case of further similarity in educational qualification merit order are going to be selected the idea aged, (i.e. senior in age is going to be placed higher in merit order). LIC won’t be sure to take all the candidates with similar marks. it’ll only take candidates as per the vacancy notified.
IV. Outstation candidates involved interview shall be entitled to reimbursement of Second Class Ordinary to and fro Railway/Bus Fare by the shortest route from the place of residence to the place of the interview to be restricted to the fare by Railway Second Class Sleeper including the Reservation charges.
V. there’ll be no contingency/waiting list for candidates not declared successful within the main list.
Marks obtained within the Main examination plus marks obtained within the interview are going to be considered for final merit listing.
